Snacking, Reinvented
What if your favourite cookie could become an even better snack? These No-Bake Ragi Energy Bites use Laxmi Organics Ragi Millets Cookies as the base — crushing them into a dough and rolling them into protein-packed bites. No oven, no fuss, and ready in 10 minutes.
Ragi (finger millet) is one of the richest plant sources of calcium and iron — making these bites especially great for growing kids and active adults.
Ingredients
- 1 pack Laxmi Organics Ragi Millets Cookies (crushed)
- 2 tbsp Laxmi Organics Cold Pressed Groundnut Oil
- 2 tbsp honey or jaggery syrup
- 2 tbsp rolled oats
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp flaxseeds (optional)
- A pinch of cardamom powder
Instructions
- Crush the cookies: Place the Ragi Millets Cookies in a zip-lock bag and crush into fine crumbs using a rolling pin, or pulse in a blender.
- Mix the dough: In a bowl, combine crushed cookies, rolled oats, sesame seeds, flaxseeds, and cardamom. Add honey and Cold Pressed Groundnut Oil. Mix well until the mixture holds together when pressed. If too dry, add a few more drops of groundnut oil.
- Roll into balls: Scoop about 1 tablespoon of mixture and roll between your palms into a smooth ball. Repeat for the rest.
- Chill: Place on a plate and refrigerate for 20–30 minutes to firm up.
- Serve: Enjoy straight from the fridge. Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
