Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Where do you source your products from?

We source directly from trusted organic farmers across India. Our grains, pulses, spices, and oils are carefully selected to ensure freshness, purity, and nutritional value.

What makes Laxmi Organics different from regular grocery stores?

Unlike conventional grocery stores, we offer 100% organic produce with full traceability. Our products are free from artificial additives, preservatives, and chemical residues — giving you cleaner, healthier food for your family.

What types of products do you sell?

We offer a wide range of organic products including fresh fruits, vegetables, spices, pulses, grains, cold-pressed oils, pure ghee, and beverages. Our catalog is regularly updated with seasonal produce.

What is the difference between cold-pressed oil and refined oil?

Cold-pressed oils are extracted without heat, preserving natural nutrients, antioxidants, and flavour. Refined oils undergo chemical processing and high-heat treatment, which strips away many beneficial compounds. Our cold-pressed oils retain their natural goodness and are a healthier choice for cooking and dressing.

Which grains and pulses are best for a high-protein diet?

Our organic moong dal, chana dal, rajma, and black urad dal are excellent high-protein options. For grains, organic quinoa and amaranth (rajgira) are particularly protein-rich. All are available in their natural, unprocessed form for maximum nutritional benefit.

Are your spices pure and unadulterated?

Yes. Our spices are sourced whole or ground fresh from certified organic farms with no added colours, fillers, or artificial flavours.

Do you sell A2 ghee? What is the difference between A2 and regular ghee?

We offer pure desi bilona ghee made from the milk of indigenous (A2) cow breeds. A2 ghee contains the A2 beta-casein protein, which is easier to digest compared to A1 protein found in milk from crossbred cows. It is rich in healthy fats, fat-soluble vitamins, and butyric acid, which supports gut health.

How do you ensure product freshness during delivery?

We pack all fresh produce carefully to minimise damage during transit. Orders are dispatched promptly after packing, and we use appropriate packaging to maintain freshness. We recommend refrigerating fresh fruits and vegetables upon receipt.

How should I store organic spices and grains?

Store spices in airtight containers away from direct sunlight and moisture. Grains and pulses should be kept in cool, dry, airtight containers. Avoid storing near strong-smelling foods as organic products can absorb odours more readily than processed alternatives.

What is the shelf life of your products?

Shelf life varies by product. Fresh fruits and vegetables are best consumed within 3–7 days of delivery. Dry goods like grains, pulses, and spices typically have a shelf life of 6–12 months when stored correctly. Each product listing includes specific storage and shelf life information.

Which areas do you deliver to?

We currently deliver across India. Delivery timelines and availability may vary by pincode. You can check delivery availability at checkout by entering your pincode.

How long does delivery take?

Standard delivery typically takes 3–7 business days depending on your location. We aim to dispatch all orders within 1–2 business days of order confirmation.

Can I track my order?

Yes. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking link via email or WhatsApp so you can monitor your delivery in real time.

What is your return and refund policy?

If you receive a damaged, spoiled, or incorrect product, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with a photo. We will arrange a replacement or refund promptly. For non-perishable items, returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery in original, unopened condition.

Are organic foods more nutritious than conventional foods?

Research suggests that organic produce can contain higher levels of certain antioxidants and beneficial compounds compared to conventionally grown produce. Additionally, organic foods are free from synthetic pesticide residues, making them a cleaner choice — especially important for children, pregnant women, and those with dietary sensitivities.

Which Laxmi Organics products are good for immunity?

Our organic amla (Indian gooseberry), turmeric, black pepper, pomegranate, and citrus fruits are particularly rich in Vitamin C, antioxidants, and anti-inflammatory compounds that support immune health. Our cold-pressed oils and pure ghee also provide essential fatty acids that support overall wellbeing.

Do you have products suitable for diabetics?

Yes. Organic millets (ragi, jowar, bajra), low-GI pulses like moong and masoor dal, and bitter gourd (karela) are excellent choices for managing blood sugar levels. We recommend consulting your healthcare provider for personalised dietary advice.
